Anglo-Saxon Embroidery Workshop –
Members and visitors had a choice of 2 designs, a deer similar to the ones on the Bayeaux Tapestry(actually an embroidery not a tapestry) or an angel for the more ambitious. The colours used were all ones that would have been available from natural dyes in the Anglo-Saxon period
