| Trench 7 more deturfing eastwards to include the northern end of the enclosure that abuts the building on its eastern side. See the aerial image in the previous post. A paved area that is part of the enclosure has appeared. I will photograph it tomorrow to show you.
Some 13C pottery found but it was mixed in with clay pipe fragments presumably from when the enclosure act wall was constructed through the middle of the building. |
